“ Can t say anything about the rooms, but the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It was 1st of December, Romanian National Day, and the glasses had napkins in the colors of the national flag in them. The service was very nice, fast, kind staff. Food is tasty, specially the fish dishes, but the portions could be a bit more generous. ”
“ Beautiful rooms with a view on the lake if you book the right ones. Very happy with our 2-person room with the small balkony. We arrived on a rainy day and the room made everything better imediately. The service is good too and the prices are affordable. Everything was very clean when we checked in and the bed felt comfortable. ”
“ Solo English speaking tourist - I stayed here for only one night as I was passing through Tulcea. Great room, perfect view. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful with very good english. Upon my return to Tulcea I missed the last bus back to Bucharest, and was finding it difficult to get help on the street. I returned to Hotel Insula to simply ask for help and the receptionist happily printed out the schedule of another bus company and told me where I needed to go. 10/10 will return! ”
